The location is close to the attractions, and has a shuttle running back and forth all day so you don’t have to deal with driving, parking, or paying the inflated rates of car services near the parks. And when you get back to the hotel, you get a bedroom with a door, a full living room with pull out sofa and a small kitchen area. There is plenty of space for the family to be comfortable and spread out.
More than just a place to sleep between Disney days, there is a lot to enjoy at the hotel-resort. Start each morning with the free breakfast that includes all the usual hot and cold items on the buffet, as well as a made to order omelette station. The rest of the day offers great food options as well including a walk up pizza joint, ice cream shop, table service restaurant, excellent room service menu, and a pool bar with everything you and the kids could want.
All of that is great, but the amenities section is where this hotel really outshines the competition. The indoor/outdoor pool is well done, and heated for year round use. There is also a hot tub, and a nice splash pad for the little ones. You also have pool side activities like corn hole, foosball, a basketball court, volleyball, and even a fishing dock. They have poles at the front desk ready to go. If you want some quiet time away from the kids there is an adults only cigar lounge to unwind in.
I know most of us think of Embassy Suites as a business travel hotel, and for good reason. However, this one is unique in that you get all the usual things you would expect from this brand, plus so much more on site and a shuttle to the theme parks to make this a perfect choice for a family vacation.
